I also have a mini toslink adapter and connected the mini to my dennon (3808CI) receiver. MP can play DVD's and I get audio but I do not think its Dolby Digital. Normally when I play a DVD from a DVD player/360/PS3 the back lit words on my receiver switch from PLIIX to Dolby digital. with MP it stays PLIIxI have not verified that the DVD is actually DD 5.1 but it is season 3 of Battlestar Galactica and I cannot imagine it is not.I will try a DVD I know to be DD 5.1 but is there anything any body here can suggest I do?</blockquote>
