I am looking at adding a HTPC for my Den. I am considering getting a Mac Mini and running XP and MP with Bootcamp. I will mainly be using the My TVSeries and My Films plug-ins. Most of my files are 720p h264 files in Matroska containers, but I have a few 1080p ones. Does anyone know how well the Mac Mini will play these. My main concern with the mini is using the integrated graphics card.

I am using a Mac Mini w/ XP and MP for one of my HTPCs. It's a fanatastic little box for the job.

I do not use HD content right now, though. I have tried a few 1080p trailers, and they play fine, but haven't tried anything longer. I have also tried using ffdshow for upscaling to 1080p without much success. I doesn't have the power for much in the way of postprocessing. In other words, 1080p seems to be at the edge of what it can do, but it seems that it CAN do it.

Incidently, I've got the dual core 1.66 GHz version with 1 GB of RAM.

providing you get an Intel Mac Mini then you shouldn't have a problem.
the older G4 PowerPC models can't run windows.

all the intel models have "Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory"
