Hi.
I cant get my machine to wake up from standby for a scheduled recording. It wakes up fine from the mce remote, keyboard or even using windows task scheduler. It just refuses to wake for a recording
Is there anything generic I needed to have done in setup?
Can media portal reliably wake a machine or is it standard to leave it on 24/7? If I have a recording scheduled does media portal write it to windows task scheduler and if so should I be able to see it listed?
Any help much appreciated.

PS I'm not using an EPG , just scheduling a manual recording to test the ability to wake from standby. Does this matter and if so why?
