OK I will give 15.7.1 another go, (it was already installed but when the new card went in it seemed to bomb out and win 10 installed a Crimson version, which I later upped to 15.11)). Don't worry about testing for HEVC, as per kenwonders post and my own Googling it is not supported on R7s but if you are still interested this should get you a short sample. http://4ksamples.com/elysium-2013-2160p-1-minute-sample-footage/ I know the feeling:LOL:. Too many times have asked myself , " why didn't you make a restore point before doing that". BTW I have given up on the "Computer" setting in the TV, it was just not possible to get colour and clarity right. I am pretty much convinced that this option is only for use to properly display the desktop, text and lines etc, look really sharp but anything with photos or video is rubbished. I did find a post on the Philips Support forum with somebody asking if there was any restrictions on its use, the response from the tech, was along the lines of no it can be used as much as you want with a PC but if you ever wanted to play a video, from the PC, switch it off (TV mode). Whatever TV (also football) is now playing OK, maybe the R7 or the resetup.;) UPDATE:- It must have been the setup because I had to swap the R7-260 out due to problems with WAF (too loud) and everything is still OK. Oh well.
