@joecrow before you decide to go for a new vga i would suggest u take two things under consideration, NVIDIA Deinterlacing produces worst picture quality results than ur current AMD, i am not familiar with the latest NVIDIA cards so i could be wrong here but i know for sure that all their previous models had bad deinterlacing, they also are unable to match 23.976, again i am not sure regarding the newest model, all the previous ones would give u 23.972 instead of 23.976, as a results u were getting frequent frame drops. That being said, AMD is also unable to perfectly match 23.976, their cards give u 23.977 but that's still better than 23.972 as u can see. In other words its a mess, it always was and this is why i went for an AMD card that is still able to run with Catalyst BUT i am not watching HEVC so here is were most of ur issues arise, HEVC and UHD are relativelly new and considering how many years it took manufacturers to fix all previous issues i would say we are in for a long long ride. So before u throw more money into the problem i feel u have to know that currently there is no VGA + Driver out there that can give u everything that u ask for.
