Dear community
but now finally: the last "unofficial" test version 0.3.13 can be downloaded from the well known place.
Due to the great test, skin and language support (especially @fischy667 for testing, @catavolt for skinning the DefaultWide files and @azzuro / @powermarcel10 for language files) I could achieve the milestone for a repository version before X-mas. The necessary steps to create the repository entry starts later in the evening.

I've made some small changes in version 0.3.13, but the message described above costs me more headaches than expected. Because of this, I will investigate further time into analysis some days later.

Dear community,
please find at the first post of this thread and in our repository version 0.4.2 of MailTip. This version includes the following changes and enhancements:

• major improvements to plain and HTML text cleanup routines
• add support for mail sender image incl. related property (MailSenderImage), please see chapter 5, footnote 2 how you can use this feature
• code stabilization, translations added

The mail popup window and the new mail notification are totally different features. Please be aware also, that the new mail notification only comes up in case MediaPortal is not in fullscreen mode. All of this is acknowledged in the manual.

at a late hour please find at the first post of this thread and in our repository version 0.4.3 of MailTip. This version includes the following changes and enhancements:

• alternative filter types added (Important: please reconfigure your settings immediately to get the results as before)
• minor improvements to mail text cleanup functionality
• fine tuning for IMAP related encoding routines (Base64) (@fischy667: this should fix the problem discussed here, please retest)
• add POP/IMAP support for legacy encoding types (windows-1250, windows-1251, windows-1252)
• add POP/IMAP support for meeting requests incl. related properties and envelope images
• translations added

Although I have another mail with problems, but this time no coding.

Your plugin uses a html cleaner and it work fine but what if in the mail css is used??
