ah, sorry, I see now Well that's indeed a problem I guess it will be difficult to find a proper solution. But generally, to make videos available for more clients, you usually would use a separate server to store them. So perhaps you could consider using the 500 gig hd in a server an tell MediaPortal do record on a mapped drive or something (which will cause problems too, I guess ). Or it would be possible to automatically or periodically move the recorded files to the server.

Just my opinion on this.
