Manual recordings and options to set recordtime (1 Viewer)

Hi!

In My TV if you press record now you only get the options to record the current show or to record until manually stopped. I think it would be nice to have an option to set a time for how long to record. I know there are scheduled recordings from where you can set start-stop time but if you wan't to quickly startrecoring and if there's no epg data then this would be great.

Then to another question if I wan't to upload the tuningparameters for my town so that it can be added to mediaportal how should i do that?

Just to add my vote for this. For example it could be triggered by clicking the record button again which would bring up options like 30min, 1 hr, 1:30 etc with each press.
