Hi there

Apologies for the basic question, but I havent used Videos feature before (I have been using MovingPictures plugin)

I am using videos now for a whole load of old football matches I have. (soccer to you US guys) :D

When I run the database scan, it doesnt seem to recognise any files (as you would expect) as I assume its looking for matches in IMDB and the like, but when I open MP and go to the video menu, some (not sure if all) appear, but the only information shown is the file name (and a sceen grabbed picture where the DVD cover should be)

What I would like to do is manually add some summary detail to this.

Is there anyway to do this?

Apologies again for the basic question. Thanks.

Thanks for this although this may be a problem for me.

It was late last night so I may be wrong, but I am sure I looked at the editor tab and it had no videos to edit.

When I looked in the raw database file using an DBeditor, it also have no 'movie' info included, just a list of file names.

I assumed this was because the scan didnt recognise any of the football matches as 'movies' so it didnt add them to the database as 'movies' only as the filename of the file?

Or am I getting that wrong?

Under the "Editor"-Tab you can choose new. Then you have to link to the file. After this you can edit your recording in the database.

Same procedure i use for my music DVD and recordings.

Thanks rekenaar. I have already looked at this option, but as I already use TVseries for all of the TV shows I have and I wanted a 'clean' option for the football stuff I decided to use the 'video' feature as this wasnt being used (all my movies are handled using Moving Pictures).

Thanks for the info though.
