Many Missed Channels Scanning HDHomeRun Tuner (1 Viewer)

I have a SiliconDust HDHomeRun tuner. I can use its utilities to find all my local cable's open QAM channels and view them with no problem from any PC on my network. When I try using MediaPortal (v1.2beta) to scan for channels, it finds some, but not others. So where I think I should have about 100 channels, it only finds about 50 and many channels are missing. I notice that when it is scanning, some channels show up as found 10 new channels, some say no signal, but where the SiliconDust utilities show other channels, the MediaPortal TV Server Configuration tools says "Nothing Found".

Is anyone else using MediaPortal with an HDHomeRun (ATSC/QAM to ethernet) box?

Please upgrade to MP 1.2.0 [final]. There were issues with QAM scanning in 1.2.0b that were later rectified - the symptoms of the 1.2.0b problems are exactly as you've described so I have no doubt that upgrading to 1.2.0 final would resolve the problem...
