I would like to be able to map a key on my MCE remote to delete a video from "my videos" while in the list view. I have tried mapping remote buttons to "delete item" and "delete selected item" neither of which do anything. Any ideas? TIA!

Although that sounds reasonable, i would ere on the side of caution with that one and use the context menu's to actually delete something.

Wrong buttons do have a habit of being pressed.

I know this is not what you asked for, but just a thought as a delete button could do a lot of damage.

    Regards

I appreciate your concern for my media library, but I assure you any video that is deleted even by accident can be replaced quite easily. That being said, could someone please help me to assign a remote key to delete videos from the list view in "my videos".

    Thank you!

Info button first item "delete", or did you want to not enter the info menu.

Thats why could not understand first question, would not map any key direct to delete command, sat on remote to many times. :D

Yes, I would like to map a button directly to delete, it would still ask to confirm I would image so I don't understand what the big deal is. If you use the delete key on the keyboard it does exactly what I want but I don't see it anywhere in the mappings so I have no idea how to do it with the MCE remote.

    Hi there,

I think for me the '0' (zero) on my MCE remote is mapped to that. Isn't that default?

    Regards :)

On mine 0 just takes me to the top of any list :-(

Maybe you could check your keymappings for me if you have a momemnt? :)

    TIA!

I guess I am posting this in the wrong place to, I am using the released version of MP.... I will post in the MP2 forum as well.

I'm also having problems with mapping keys on my remote. I'd like the * and # buttons to change timing for subtitles in My Movies section and assign one of the coloured buttons to changing the aspect ratio. I can't seem to find out how to do it. I can see how you can select a given action, but it's unclear to me how I map this to a button on the remote like # and *.
I can find action Remote Yellowbutton, but then I can't assign that to action Change aspect ratio. It's very confusing.
