Mapping to Music Album instead of Music Files (1 Viewer)

When I try to change the mapping of my "My Music" button to "Music Album" instead of "Music Files", Mediaportal just returns to the basic home menu.

Anybody know how I can resolve this?

Sorry, not sure how to accomplish, but trying to follow you:
Are you doing the follwowing:
In MP Control Plugin
Then Map Buttons
Then Extra Buttons
Then MyMusic
Then trying to change Action Windown to Music Album?
I do not even have Music Album there. What version of MP and IRSS you using?

Yes, that is exactly what I'm doing.

I have MediaPortal 1.1.3 - Latest Maya Skin, on Win 7 with the latest IRSS as of about a month ago.

It was removed from that list in 1.2 beta (0003292: When Mapping Remote buttons list of Windows is incorrect (GUIWindow.cs is outdated) - MediaPortal Bugtracker) as the window did not exist (hence why you get sent back to home screen)

There are two music screens, shares view (music files) and database view (music genres).

Problem for you is that both of these actually appear as the same window. Opening either will send you to the last one that was open (hence if you open shares view but were in database view last time you closed MP you will actually be sent there).

In 1.2 there are menu options to jump straight to a database view (albums, genre, top100 etc) but you can not map a remote button to this.
