I used to have a problem where my antivirus software used to try to flash up notification bubbles from the task bar and this would cause lots of stutter (the same was the case for things like Windows Update notifications etc). It might be worth making sure all theses type of notifications are suppressed (after all, you can't see them anyway!)Robbo100</blockquote>
