belozeroff, could you tell me a little more about the problem, like how/where you would need to display those characters? When i first read your post, i thought you could be using a language other than English. I do some testing in German, not because i understand even a word of it, just to make sure text fits in the spaces i've left for them, and that everything is aligned properly. I've tried a few other languages, and to be honest, if there is something displaying improperly, i wouldn't know. One question, did you try the skin before the font change? The difference that's most likely to be the problem is that the font i've chosen doesn't support those characters. I'd hate to have to go back to arial, changing fonts has freshened the skin up some. I can make an installation option gives you a choice of fonts if arial displays properly. If you want to test arial font, open up fonts.xml in the ../Mediaportal/skin/mce1280x720 directory and replace "lucida sans" with "arial". Erase all the files in the fonts directory in the skin (not the Fonts directory in Windows), and restart mp. Make sure to back up your fonts.xml so you can just paste the copy back in. You'll also have to erase the files in fonts directory again. If this solves your problem, in the final release later this month i'll include an option for the arial font.
