MCE remote and keyboard (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Sitting here with mce remote and mce keyboard and want to get it working with mediaportal and danish windows xp. Is this possible?
I read about an update somewhere in the forum, and i checked it out on the MS web. There is sadly no danish version there.

Is there a work around?

The update from Microsoft cannot install since the update language is different from the system's language :? The update "eHome Rollup Drivers for MCE Remote Keyboard (zip)" files could be installed by right clicking but i am not sure they work. They just installed without returning a message good or bad. The keyboard does not work after these installed.
In my hardware list at the Keyboards node, i have only one "Buttons for Microsoft ehome remote control-keyboard(translated) entry. I think this is for the remote. My remote works very well with mediaportal and has been for a long time. Just bought the keyboard and wanted to get that working too..

Isn't there a workaround so the english update can be installed on the danish windows xp?
