MCE Remote misbehaving (1 Viewer)

Heya all,

Ive noticed that my MS IR receiver seems to think its receiving my commands from my MCE remote twice. Therefore, every time i move up or down a menu it jumps over one. This is not wholy consistent but probably happens 85% of the time.

Ive also noticed that my cable set top box (foxtel) is starting to do the same thing?

Im wondering if this is due to positioning of the remote receiver(s) being so close to my Panasonic 42" plasma. Ive heard they can interfere with IR signals.

Any thoughts?

I take it that you are talking about a REAL ehome receiver showing up in device manager.

You then need no other software enabled for this device, only the tick against use mce remote in MPconfig remotes.

If this does not help then full logs please.
