Hello all

I'm not being able to make the microsoft remote work on MP;

I turn on extended logging, and use the debug version, the mce is started but not key presses are registered.

The mce remote does not have any drivers for vista; it works as keystrokes.

If I disable the remote at the configuration, I can use it as the keystrokes. If I enable the general HID at config, I can use play, pause, as if keyboard commands. But the remote is crippled: it doesn't capture the commands as a remote.

Any ideas?

Here's the logging:

2008-02-14 18:55:04.798438 [Info.][MPMain]: MCE: MCE remote enabled
and when I quit
2008-02-14 18:55:54.766434 [Info.][MPMain]: MCE: Stopping MCE remote
but in the meantime, no mentions to MCE in the log...

Thanks a lot!

PS: It works perfeclty in the media center software, so it's not a remote problem..

    Working fine here in Vista Ultimate, all i had to do was tick the "use mce remote" box

    Any other software installed that possibly could affect the remotes use outside of mce, as MP just uses normally the ehome driver itself.
