Ok so I need some help here. I am having issues with this remote. Newegg.com - Anyware GP-IR01BK Windows Vista Infrared MCE Black Remote Control It is a valid MCE Remote. In your MP i try to Check the Box " USE MCE REMOTE" but it does nothing in MP. At one time for some reason i had it working in MP but i reinstalled MP and it wont work now. I tried to reinstall again and it wont work. But the first time i got it working i could only use like the up down left right arrows and the OK key. The remote works fine in MCE. I tried selecting USE HID Device to test with but that didnt work either. What am i doing wrong here? I also have tried to use Event Ghost and it has worked pretty well so far but for some reason its not working now. Event Ghost will see when i select an key on the remote just fine it shows up in the software but it seems like its not hitting MP anymore. There is one only thing i might be able to think is the issue here and is im running Windows 7 64 bit. So far everything has been perfect with it but could that cause some type of issues here? Also isnt this remote just supposed to work with MP when you select the option " Use MCE Remote"? All the Drivers seem to be fine as i said before the PC and MCE pick up the remote and use it just fine. Also Event Ghost does but seems its not hitting MP anymore. Any help would be great. I have the latest version of Event Ghost and it has the MP plugin with the MCE Plugin installed correctly. All i did was select a macro that was in MP plugin and press my remote like for example press "Play" it would show in Event Ghost and i would " Add" an Event to MP on the "Play" option. It worked like that fine before but maybe there is a better way. I really wish MP would just utilize my MCE Remote.

Also what is the best OS to be running MP in? XP MCE? Vista? Windows 7? I really want to stay away from vista if i can since im running a Atom Processor. My board is the Zotac ITX intel Atom n330 board.

thank you
