MCE Remote only works partially (1 Viewer)

I have just upgraded from MP 1.0.2 running on Windows XP to MP 1.2.2 running on Windows 7 x86.

Everything went smoothly except the remote control doesn't work properly. I have a clone MCE remote and receiver and only some of keys work (arrows, OK, volume). None of the My TV, My Music, etc. keys work and neither does the Back or More keys etc. All of these worked perfectly on my previous setup.

When I press the buttons I get a response from the receiver so I know they are being sent and received, they just aren't being interpreted properly. I can't seem to work out how to map the commands I am sending to be the ones MediaCenter is expecting.

Can anyone provide a guide or point me to the right thread?

Normally the mapping should be already there - so nothing special to configure.
Did you set up in MP that you use a MCE remote?
If not you should do this and then look for:
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\InputDeviceMappings\
There Should be a Microsoft MCE.xml ....if not go to the mappings table of the mce in MP and change any value and save - then change it back to its standard value and save again.

Check if the mce.xml is there now.

Then retry wether your keys work or not
