MCE Remote + Small Preview window? (1 Viewer)

Dear All,

I am using my MCE remote with MP, when i am playing a movie, watching TV or listing to music in full screen and then press the home button on the remote, it takes me to the home screen and displays a small preview window of what's playing. My problem is how can i highlight that window, click on it to go back to what i was watching like it does in MCE? I tried clicking down, right, left anything it doesn't go to that window.... what might the problem be?

Hi,
You can't select the preview window, but if you have the remote with color buttons it is the red one that takes you to "fullscreen" or use the back button.

that's intersting... well i can select it and click on it with the mouse. Why not add this functionality to the remote? i think it's an important thing to have, quick selection and going to what i was watching last.

It used to be that you pressed the My Videos, My Tv, or whatever mode you were in (provided it was already playing), and it would go into fullscreen. It was changed from this norm a year ago or more. I dont know why. I asked in the forum, but I dont rememeber what the answer was, but they decided to have it this way.

Sadly, my MCE remote doesnt have these 4 colored buttons.

You can use the MCE plugin that allows you to remap the buttons on your remote. I also have the USA version of the MCE remote, and I will be forced to do this myslef tonight. Maybe between the two of us we can work this issue to correction.
