MCE Remote (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I have a MCE remote model 1039; the remote is detected in the device manager as MCE Infrared Remote Control. I also configured it in the MediaPortal configuration under remote control and it is still not working in MediaPortal. Maybe i missed something or there is something that i can do to troubleshoot this.

Nope, just get rid of Vista

"MCE Infrared Remote Control" sounds like the replacement driver, it won't work without additional software.

HIP, Girder, IR Server Suite all support the replacement driver.

That fixed my issue, i removed the replacement driver and install the normal one and now it works fine...thanks
