In addition to mediaportal I also use an Xbox as a media center. However I wanted to shared the film library between both mediaportal's MyFilms and also windows media center. For media center I use 'Media Center Master' as the film metadata and artwork manager.
The attached utility bridges the gap between these two applications.
From a media center master movie folder it will use an existing AMC v4 database (I would start a clean one) and will movie all the metadata including the link to coverart to the AMC database. It will also move the backdrops to the My Films - Fanart folder you specify (would be nice if MyFilms could use 'backdrop*.jpg' in the same folder where the movie file resides)
