Hi guys,

After searching for the perfect media center application, seems like MP is the one for me. There is one information that I need to know before I start building my system and I hope you guys can help me answer this question. I bought my musics from two places, itunes and musicgiant (use media player). Does MP allow you to use both itunes and media player or do I have to choose between the two?

Thanks,

Basicaly, we try to use our own player, either the internal directshow player or the BASS audio engine, for music playback.
However they don't play DRM protected music, which your bought music seem to me.
Howver you can use external applications for playback. You can configure mp to use ituse for music bought from itunes.
for media player compliant music, you should use winamp to playback.

That is awesome the fact that I can have two external players. I think in this case would have to be itunes and media player, nothing against winamp but my other music library files are in wma format with DRM. Been a good customer of music giant for HD audio .. hehe. :)

I think media portal would be the software for me .. :)
