Media Portal And My Garden (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I've had MediaPortal running for quite a while now and it's great and i'm slowly starting to use it more and more, i've even got the other half hooked on it .

Not sure if this is the place to ask, but here goes......as summer is fast approaching and so are the BBQ's etc I had a thought the other night that it would be great to have a touch screen remote/device that I could take outside, control media portal (music only) and stream music from my server to the descrete speakers I will be installing in my decking in the coming months.

Does anyone know if it's possible, if MediaPortal is the right application or know of any devices available that may do what I require.

I haven't tried it myself but what about the PocketPC client? If everything is wi-fi enabled you can control MP via that.

Otherwise, the only other route I can think of is a small touch screen monitor, the type of thing fitted in car-puters and a v long vga cable.

There is, of course, the laptop and VNC route to go down.

But I reckon the PocketPC may be the most convenient etc.
