Media Portal cant find my files (1 Viewer)

Just moved in with some mates who run media portal via network media sharing. My friend set it all up a number of weeks ago, all was working perfectly, before I went home to visit my family for a a week. Now my folder is still registered on the My Videos menu, but when I open it it wont access my files, as if my computer were turned off. I havent changed anything on the computer in since he set it up, so I cant understand why it isnt showing up, all my other house mates are having no problems, their videos stream perfectly.

I know I sound like a bit of a dunce explaining this but I am one step up from computer illiterate, and the guy who set it up is currently away traveling, ...any suggestions?

ha, I wish. My mates are more into to the 'turd on your pillow' kind of stunts.

ah sorted it out. I had installed daemon tools without the external hardrive plugged in, so it had reassigned the path E: to the virtual drive, and made the external F: by default. Just incase anyone else as clueless as me has as similar problem
