Media Portal & Comcast Digital Cable (1 Viewer)

Hello All,

I recently set up my Media Portal, all is well i am amazed at how many features and how smooth it runs.

Since i have Comcast Digital Cable is there any way to get Digital Channels and OnDemand to work with media portal?

Right now i have Media Portal set up with my cable but i dont get the digital channels like my HBO or Shotime. I can only get the basic channels.

Has anyone figured out how to set this up, or is it even possible?

What you need is a tuner with cable card. Problem is, as of May of 07 (I haven't checked lately), there's only OEM solution, as part of a new MCE computer. There is no separate tuner that you can purchase. ATI as going to release a stand alone box with interface to the computer, probably through USB, but I've heard they had some technical issues.
