Media portal crashes w leadtek DTV1000T (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: Tried 0.2.0 up to 0.2.3
MediaPortal Skin: default
Windows Version: XP SP2
CPU Type: Celeron 2800
HDD: 80GB
Memory: 1GB DDR
Video Card: Geforce ti 4200
1. TV Card: Leadtek DTV1000T

I'm having problems as the title suggests. Here are the specifics:

Media portal crashes whenever I attempt to run the general setup wizard within media portal itself. Specifically it gets the the point of scanning for channels (after selection of remote type, location, tv card etc). The moment it starts to scan for channels it crashes without fail.

When I use the manual channel scan function within The media portal setup application it finds all the channels no fuss, works fine.

The bundled software with the DTV1000T works (but it sucks)

I've tried every available version of media portal i can get my hands on.

Ive tried the tvcapturecarddefinitions.xml fix available on this forum. No luck

I've tried deleting the existing channel databases so my location isnt important. No luck

I'm running out of ideas , any suggestions?

hi, i had the exact same thing.
you have a digital card but you are on the analog tuning page. just hit next and scan on the digital page

let me know if i'm right...
