Media Portal crashes when I try and play video (1 Viewer)

Hey guys...
I used Media Portal a while back...(version 0.2 or 0.3 etc.) I recently hooked my PC back up to the TV, downloaded the new 1.0 RC2, installed, everything seemed to go swimmingly....

Now, when I go into Media Portal, I go to a video, either local or on the network...It thinks about it for a second, then Media Portal shuts down....Obviously rebooted, uninstalled, reinstalled....same thing...

This is running on XP sp2...any ideas?

Try updating to sp3 (dvbfix required after update done), also make sure .net 3 installed, this gives you the opportunity to try using evr instead of vmr9 as directshow renderer.

More information required, if ati graphics, make sure your using catalyst driver 8.7\8.8, which codecs are being used for which filetype also helps, and last but not least logs, attainable from youir start menu\team-mediaportal folder and uploaded by using the advanced + feature.

hm..my graphics card is old and only seems to support 6.11 according to their website.
