OK, what type of PC would you install MP on!

Well, I just read this over at THG's and this has to be the BEST solution ATM.

TriGem's Kloss KL-I915a
w/ a P4 3.6
1GB RAM (OCZ 3200 DDR)
GeForce 6800 Ultra, or Radeon X800 Por
a SkyCard TV-Card

They say this system is quiet even with a P4 running at FULL Power, plus it looks like Trigem REALLY put alot of thought into this system, and gone one up over Shuttles' XPC systems.

I would put one of these on every floor in the house!

What about you guys? 8)

I have my main MP system running as:

AMD XP2800+, OC'd to be a 3000+.
Asus A7N8X-Deluxe NForce2 w/ onboard SPDIF.
512Mb Corsair DDR 3500, Dual Channel.
2x Samsung SP1614N in SATA RAID0 on EAR grommets.
Radeon 9600Pro 256Mb
Antec SLK-4700BQE case, with Airflow mods
DNTV Live! DVB-T TV card,

Hooked up to the home LAN, sharing & streaming from 2 other file servers round the house.

Connected to a 76cm CRT Rank Arena HDTV via XVGA, running @ 1920x1080i or 1280x720p, depending on my mood.

AND, the system is quiet... not Overclocker quiet, SilentPCReview.com quiet! :D

And yes, I know I'm perhaps a little too excited by all this, but what can I do - I'm a geek! ;)

But wow! This is completely different to what I expected!

Yeah, I'd buy one of those for a dollar!

What are you trying to say, guess you don't think this run as well as your system, well.

I'm quite sure this would run as fast or faster than your current setup. I would also guess that if fitted with a PCIe graphics card, it will easily handle that little mac.

BTW that mac is nothing but a rip off of an XBOX (legacy free PC), It's a sad day when Apple copies an idea from M$.

No, that's not what I meant at all, I was quite impressed with the system actually. My machine is over a year old now, so there's no way that I'd expect it to keep up with a top-of-the-range, brand-new system.

but why keeping a system up to date when your machine (htpc) is running fine
dont waste your money!

my setup is a athlon XP 1800, 512 DDR, pvr-500, dvd-rom, 5.1 soundblaster, radeon 9100 128Mb.

second machine I have (gaming, audio-video editing)
P4 3.2, 1024 DDR, radeon 9800XT.
This is the machine that I keep up 2 date, couse it's job is constantly needing new hardware.

My HTPC's job is constantly the same
