Media Portal Freezing At Load? (1 Viewer)

Basically I start MP.
I get the screen with "Loading DirectX" and "Loading Recorder" etc
The program runs, all the options i had selected in the configuration load i.e I chose MP to hide the taskbar, and it does that. But after the "Loading" screen dissapears MP just doesnt load, and my machine freezes, although i can just go to task manager and close it. This is an ongoing project for me, so if there are any hardware/ software requirements I have overlooked, please advise me of it.

I have included Log files of the error.

Hi.
My immediate guess (without bothering to check log files ) is that your graphic-chip in not DirectX9 capable, so it does not meet the MP requierments :sorry:

So..... New graphics card? Easy enough, Il give it a try!! Sorry earlier thread, new to this, and was late night.



Hold on.. just an afterthought, i have directX 10, and my machine is fine in all the diagnostics under "dxdiag".... still the graphics card?
