Media Portal Guide (1 Viewer)

Hello, new to Media Portal but have been using Windows media center for a long time and make HTPCs and sell them from where I work digitalgenus.
And we make alot of media centers using DVB Viewer as a external program that loads through media center for free view.
Now Media Portal works much better for this but the guide looks shit house and have tried many different skins but still way to busy, we have edited a skin to simplify to a point but the main problem is that its trying to display to many programs 4 hours worth.
Is there a way to set it to only display 2 hours at a time in 30min intervils then to see more you scroll.
If we could solve this problem we would use media portal for our sale HTPCs and start donating the saving from not having to buy DVB Viewer.

But need the guide fixed before we will do this can anyone help or point us in the right direction>?

Notice the 2 sets of arrow keys just above the Channel column in guide. One set (associated with the Guide's date label) is for skipping horizontally in day increments, the other set is for expanding or compressing the program columns to 15 minute, 1/2 hour, 45 min and 1 hour coulmns.
