I for whatever reason, have become just a bit confused over the issue regarding using Media Portal and tuner cards. Maybe I have not looked well enough but there does not seem to be a one and only explanation regarding how it is done.
Media Portal is running fine. Great product. But now I want to record from my Directv satellite setup. I have a slim HTPC case so full size cards are out of the question. USB would be OK too.
Is there any full tutorial or complete details on how to go about adding Directv support, and which card(s) seem to work ?
If not, could anyone who has this working on their system share all their work here and with me (and all others) so I can get it operational ?
