Media Portal only runs in top left hand corner of the screen (1 Viewer)

Hi Everyone. I am brand new to Media Portal. I am running Vista 64 Ultimate on an AMD 64 x2 dual core processor with 4gigs of ram. I just did a clean install of Mediaportal 1.0 rc3. When I try to use any of the plugins, as soon as a choose the media file itself to play, the screen goes black for about 5 seconds, then media portal appears in the top left hand corner of my screen only. It is the whole media portal screen, just minimized to the top left hand corner of the screen. I have tried this with both my videos and my tv (using a pinnacle hd pci 800i card). The mouse then sometimes works, some times doesnt. I can escape back to the home screen, when I choose any of the plugins again, the same thing happens.

I for the life of me can't figure out what to do. Please HELP haha! Thanks!

I had that same problem when I installed 1.0 RC3 yesterday. I overcame the problem by using 1024x768 or 1280x1024 resolution. I haven't tried to figure out why yet. But I have it working.

Hi. are there resoliiton settings within Media portal, do you you mean on the computer itself? I am out putting to a 52" Samsung 1080p LCD. The correct drivers for the Ati Radeon Hd card are installed.

Yes I do! As I said I haven't tried to figure oput why yet. On my test machine I am using a 24.5" Dell and ATI card. It's worked fine on everything including all the previous versions of MP.
