Hi there
Introduction:
Bart's PE Builder helps you build a "BartPE" (Bart Preinstalled
Environment) bootable Windows CD-Rom or DVD from the original Windows XP or
Windows Server 2003 installation/setup CD, very suitable for PC
maintenance tasks.

It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a
graphical user interface (800x600) and FAT/NTFS/CDFS filesystem support.
Very handy for burn-in testing systems with no OS, rescuing files to a
network share, virus scan and so on.
This will replace any Dos bootdisk in no time!

Now,
I'm Xtreme. I'm working on making and developing a plugin for PE field and i really made a lot of plugins
like
- Media Portal
- Windows Media Player
- Winamp ( with .rm support and DEX)
- Windows Tablet PC (BETA).
and
more but those are the most popular and the only plugins in the world.
As you can see most of them are going to serve Multi-Media field due to
that i made a lot of plugins for Codecs to complete the Multi-Media
environment.

I made a plugin for Media Portal to run under BartPE
http://xtreme.boot-land.net/Plugin_MPortal.html
so that your program become will enter a new field (PE) so, i am asking if you can pack my plugin with the Media
Portal Program to give the
users more options that Microsoft don't do which also will help to spread your program more and more.

That is all
Hope to be useful
NOTE: Plz reply me with your opinion.

Regards,
Xtreme

This looks very promising. Strange there has been no feedback....
Xtreme(e?), do you mean that it would be possible to run MP on a non bloated XP system (BartPE) - without feature-loss, or did I get it wrong...?

Seems like a great idea if i read this correctly, might be worthwhile quoting any requirements hardware wise to run this with MP, as my only other experience of BartPe is the "ultimate boot cd" which i think indespensable in the pc world.

    @ All
There are some options don't work yet under PE and there will be need some work to get all of it to work. I always work on plugins in my spare time, so if the Media Portal team decide to support Media Portal for PE by adding my plugin to there installation pack i will take some time of my working hour to finish this plugin more fast.
So plz i wanna a reply from Media Portal Team

    Hi Xtremee,

I think you need to provide some more information on your "MediaPortal Plugin" - it is certainly not clear to me what the purpose of this plugin is, and what the benefits might be? For example:-

There are some options don't work yet under PE
Could you please list the options that don't work?

if the Media Portal team decide to support Media Portal for PE by adding my plugin to their installation pack

Why does it need to be added to the installation pack? Is it a plugin for MediaPortal, or for BartPE?

As far as I can tell its like a Linux Live CD basically, you test it out, without actually installing Windows on your pc, and try out other programs as well.
