The video image is frozen. If I watch the TV using the DVB Dream software.. I will not observe this problem.</p><p></p><p>There are two things at play here: hardware and software. Why would my HTPC ever even be aware if the LCD is on or off? And since it is aware, why does it behave this way? Is there some sort of setting in ATI cataylst drivers to prevent this strange situation? Obviously Media Portal is not happy to play with this situation, but this is the software I'd much rather use over DVB Dream. At any rate, I'd love to hear anyone's hypothesis on the HTPC's 'awareness' of my LCD being on or off!
