MediaHome skin was project to attend basic needs of a Home Entertainment System.
With a simple design, based on glass effects and a blue background permanent, will be a solution if you don`t like complexes skins and use your PC only for HTPC purposes. It work with MediaPortal 1.1.0 in 16:9 screen and support HD 720pi resolution.
Skin initial will have only support for plug-ins like Moving Pictures, MyEmulators, OnlineVideos, TV-Series, but an long time will be developed support for others.
TV and Radio functions are not support in recent versions.

It`s my first work in area and I am continuing learn about it, so I decide put this version for evaluation. The stable version will be release when be done!

The Idea:
I were work on a HTPC for my house and I been searched for a software for it. So I found a MediaPortal and I liked it, but not the native skin.
This skin project was basically inspirited on Black Glass by Tgx and had as source code the two version of it.
About the appearance doesn`t have much to say. An clean glass effect to maintain all graphical elements in the screen and that can permit the user clear see what do. Blue background more vivid that the classical blue3wide.
Plug-In Support:
MediaHome skin currently supports the most used plug-ins, and probably the most popular`s. The native plug-ins, like Wikipedia, Sodoku, Tetris, RSS, etc are support to and all have a common interface that identify as plug-in of MP.
MyEmulators
Also I have worked on skin plug-ins files to improve its use. It`s the case of MyEmulators by Chreekar where MediaHome Skin needs a special thumbnails for games. This thumbnail model is quadrangular and have platform identification as HTPC (Some examples can be see on images above) and it`s just an idea. If demand was the expected, it`s possible that will be a site dedicate to this.
But will be develop an version for normal thumbnails, like moving pictures.
Moving Pictures
Moving Pictures plug-in is what I use for my movies. Have a good support by fforde and is more simple to use (just opinion).
Online Videos
In project the development of icons pack for the most used sites. The skin don`t make use of banners at moment.
My TV Series

MediaHome Skin not only will summarize at MP skin. I intend to develop boot screens for Windows XP, Vista and 7 (if possible) with MediaHome Logo, like logon screens and "WaitWallpaper". This WaitWallpaper is a noting more like a default background skin with write info "Wait" or similar in others languages.
All for customize your HTPC.
