I'm running Mediaportal 0.2.2.0 on a Pentium 4 64-bit machine (Windows XP SP2). I just installed a Hauppauge USB WinTV-HVR-900 and it is causing Mediaportal and the PC to hang whenever I switch inton TV mode and change channels a couple of times. Digital TV reception seems to be very poor - i.e. non-existent on most channels. Maybe this is what's causing the problem?

Is anyone else having problems with the HVR-900 and Mediaportal?

    Hi,
Have you tried to apply a SVN, maybe something has been fixed for that card?

I've been using an HVR 900 until recently (when it died :( ), and it didn't hang up no matter how many times I changed channels. Signal is enough to watch all channes with no interferences or frames dropped. I'm using 0.2.2.0 with no SVN. But some people have this kind of problem, the computer freezes after changing channels several times. I believe it was some problem related to quartz.dll, but I'm not aware of a fix. Search for "quartz.dll" and you may find related threads.
