Mediaportal 0.2.3.0 RC1 issue : only main menu is shown .. (1 Viewer)

Dear MP friends,
yesterday evening, I got frustrated a bit....I went home very excited with my MP 0.2.3.0 RC1 and after having de-installed the 0.2.2.0 and installed the new version: suprise ! Only the main menu went right.

As soon as I tried to move to any other menus (movies, music, tv etc), the main menu fade-out correctly but the sub-menu did not fade-in and the screen remain with the nice but useless two-blue background...no, menus, no icons, nothing.....just a nice omogenous blue screen :-( ....the remote controller seemed working properly but some issue in the visualization seemed affecting 0.2.3.0 RC1.

...by re-installing the 0.2.2.0 everything went back to normal behaviour....

..any suggestion ? ...did it happen to someone else here ?

Would you mind giving us the full system specifications? Is your graphic card DX9 compatible?

Do you have all the plug-ins enabled?

this happens to me on my laptop aswell, i'm assuming it's a problem with lacking system hardware.

laptop specs.

p4 2.4ghz
ram 1024
gfx onboard sis M661MX (dx 9 compatable)
hdd 60gig
unsure of the laptop chipset sorry.
no tv card either, just use laptop for testing plugins and svn's before installing on main pc.

I could only recommend doing a clean install again.
Deinstall, rename the \Program Files\Team Mediaportal directory to something else,
and install.
It worked out of the box for me.
Also look at the error.log - maybe something will show there.
