Hi.
i have an external USB video capture device (leadtek vc100 u - Leadtek - We make dreams a reality).
i installed mediaportal 1.0.0.0 RC2 in the hopes that i would be able to use it to watch live TV using ths device (by connectin the composite out from the cable box to the device).
however, mediaportal doesnt detect the device as a possible input source (either when installed with the "inbuild" server or if installed "in full" including a stand-alone tv server and sqlserver DB).
the device itself works fine with the bundled software (arcsoft showbiz) - which doesnt allow full screen preview (which is why i looked into mediaportal in the first place).
is what im trying even possible ?
if so, what setting have i missed ?
if not, is there any application that can simply display live video from the device full-screen ? (doesnt seem a lot to ask for ...)
