Hi there.

Trying to install in my Win XP SP3, clean install Offline machine. Not easy as I thought! Even with all the packages downloaded.
Downloaded and installed: Direct X 9c, Windows media Player 11, Internet explorer 8, Mysql 5.1

Still, not giving up for now. After a week of trying... Deploy tool doesn't like offline condition . Even with the packages already installed and setups in same dir.

Eager to see it working. I hope it let's me control my viewing schedules..

The deploytool does ALL downloads and installs automatically (if you want to install on an offline pc, run the downloads first, then move all files to an usb stick).
Do not install MySQL manually unless you know what you are doing (See install manual in our wiki).

I have a Vanilla build Windows 7 Home Premium install of mediaportal 1.1.0 which suddenly (I think following a hotfix install) results to Mediaportal as not having an internet connection. I don't have any other apps on the box but, Windows Update, IE8 and firefox all don't have any problems.

So I uninstalled Mediaportal 1.1.0 and decided to install 1.1.1 and now even the installer generates an offline error. I had a look through the source of the Deploy Tool and it seems the machine is generating the "DownloadOnly_NoConnectionWarning" error. I can't find what check it is performing so I don't know where to fix it. Can anybody help me find the check it does?
