Hello,

I'm using Mediaportal 1.2.3 since some weeks ago, and today I have found that it doesn't want to start...
During "Loading screen plugins" it crash...

It happens only if I choose MayaHD or Avalon skins. With standard Mefiaportal plugin everything seems to work fine.

Any idea?

I'm using Windows 7 64bits

    In C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\logs
please post mediaportal.log and error.log if it is there.

notice that C:\ProgramData is a hidden folder so you have to enable show hidden folder in windows.

    Hello!
There is a problem with your TVSeries plugin database. Can you delete it and re-scan your TV-Series again. For a quick test you can disable the TVSeries plugin in MP Config.

I too have this same problem - MP starts, locks at splash screen, saying "Loading window plugins...".
In Task Manager, the SplashScreen process is Not Responding, and a End Task is required for it to end.

Computer - Dell Precision 490, Xeon 5130 Dual Core.
    Windows7 Ultimate 32bit, 4Gb Ram
NVidia Quadro FX3450, 256Mb VRam, running dual screeens
Hauppauge 2200 Dual DVB-T/Analogue PCIx card
MediaPortal v1.2.3, downloaded and installed yesterday

    Have the logs

Nothing in there that I can see.

256MB VRAM isn't a lot, particularly if you are running two screens.

I'd try a full uninstall and reinstall and see if that helps. Maybe something went wrong.

Just re-installed MP and MP TV Server.
Same fault, still had to end the splashscreen talk. I noticed that just after requesting the 'end task', MP itself showed as a task, but both went when I was given the option to check online for a problem, or just quit the program.

Is something not loading that should?

(The 256 will run fine, these are 17" Dell monitors, but I intend to drive a single 50" TV with it. I have an older 128Mb card which happily runs 2 x 20" monitors as well.)
