I plan to use Mediaportal for my pictures and music only (no tv tuner stuff). On the other hand I do habe a 500gb uPnp server on the network with music and pictures on it. That being the case is Meida Portal 2 far enough along to do a god job of that for me?

The site states Mediaportal 2 is a tech preview. It's very incomplete, just use Mediaportal 1.
