MediaPortal 2? (1 Viewer)

I downloaded something recently called MediaPortal 2 Infinity. Is this the MP2 that is being worked on? I surely hope what I had was no representation of the new MP. This thing looked like a poor clone of Windows Media Center, with the same 2-way scrolling menu, which I hate.

If this is the future of MediaPortal, I think I'll stick to MP1.

A technology demo that is already few years old. ...technology, did I say that? Not an UI or user experience mockuo...

The Infinity DL was a tech-preview - nothing more.

The tech-preview does not have much in commin with todays state of MPII.
Not sure MPII would impress you at its current state ...

Good, then perhaps MP2 will be similar to MP1 but only better. That would be nice. Thanks for clearing that up. Had me a bit scared
