MediaPortal cannot start (1 Viewer)

Help!

When ever I start media-portal it just sais "Media portal has encountered a problem and must close" and "you may have lost the thing you were working on" and stuff. I re-installed it loads of times, but it still comes up with the same thing .

HELP PLEASE!!

Hi,
Re-install as, removed MP in add/remove programs in windows & deleted MediaPortal folder & rebooted & then install new or?
You can also attach your mediaportal.log & or error.log & or event messages to you post.

& most important, dunno use such language in your topic!!

Sorry, I don't exactly understnad what you mean.

Post as attachment your MP logs from

C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\log


or from where you installed MP.

The error log and mediaportal log and config log will help the devs see what is causing the problem.

Hiya, im having this problem, sorry to dig up an old thread, but i made a quick search and this is better than making a new thread!

I will try and post my log in a few hours, but it's a strange one, i have a fresh install of MP, and i have a TV server setup also i can get into the MP Config icon but not MP itself.

Have you installed the TVServer plugin, which is in tvserver download.

Hiya, yeah i had installed it but im not sure what the problem could be.
Im heading home soon, LUNCH! WOOT!

Anyhoo, fresh install - > SVN - > Plugin. Error appears.

Fresh Install - > SVN. Error again.

Fresh install, well it was gone 1am so i just shut down after that! Cant belive i didnt just try my fresh install...sorry!

I will get logs to you asap.
