MediaPortal can't find card (1 Viewer)

I have read a lot about MediaPortal so I thought I would give it a try. Downloaded fine but when I ran the configuration it said it couldn't find a capture card.

I have a Leadtek DTV 2000H card installed which works fine with Winfast PVR and Windows Media Centre. According to the MP web site it is a supported card so I cannot understand why the program can't find it.

Anybody any ideas?

Are any of the other programmings running? They might be "holding" the tuner card to MP can't see it. I had the same problem, when i had beyond TV installed. Eventhough it weren't running. After uninstall MP could detect the tuner card. I know you can't uninstall WMC, but check if any of its process are running and if so terminate them.
