Mediaportal crash when watching recorded TV (1 Viewer)

Hi
I am a newbie. I have most thing up and running very sweetly. I am having a mjor problem with a application crash (meiaportal) every time I watch recorded TV. Happens after a few minutes of viewing. I have looked through the log files and cannot understand what the problem is. Any ideas? Can I post the log files??

I changed the codec and now is sweat and not had the problem again...
Now for DVD playback having solved EPG with xmlTVNZ.exe.....

Hello Neville, I'm from NZ and am having the same problem too.
Only crashes when watching TV1 or 2 (720P) recordings only.
What Codec did you change to??

Hi there
I have a DVB-t card whicg did not work with the winTV software that turned up with it but did work with cyberlink powerciniema. I did no t like theinterface at all so got mediportal. What ever the default h.264 codec was did not work with MP - crashing frequently.

I changed this to MPV decoder filters for MPEG 2 and and h.264 decoder = PCM h.264/ACV decoder (I believe is part of powercinema - all stopped working when I unintalled powercinema and had to reinstall it!) Audio is set to MPA decoder. This set up works with my Haupenage dula DBb-T card and my Dell supplied USB TV decoder.... Does that help?
