MediaPortal crashed after a short time (1 Viewer)

When starting MediaPortal the program crashes after a short time (a few seconds up to some minutes).
This happens in all menus/functions, even if i keep staying on the homescreen.
A repair-installation of MP had no effect.

Updating DotNet from version 4.0 to 4.6.2 solved this problem ... somehow
