[no Bug] MediaPortal crashes randomly when viewing videos (1 Viewer)

Hi there

I recently installed 1.1.0 RC1 - got it working great - mostly.

Since I installed it started getting random crashes when viewing movies. Usually as they start or stop. So i thought maybe it is a codec problem and so i thought let's just reinstall everying completly - including windows. I bought a new HDD just for this Gimme some more space at the same time

Anyway, I followed the installation instructions 4 installing MP in the manual with everything except the codecs. I decided to use SAF 4.00 (unlocked) and followed those instructions completely aswell.

After a whole day of re-installing & getting my settings to just the way they were, I must unfortunately report that it is still happening.

Hopefully this is something in RC1 that will maybe get fixed in RC2, but I have not seen anything like it in the tracker.

I have attached my logs, but from my perusing them, i saw nothing. Nothing gets reported in the event viewer or in the logs (that I could see)

Thanx for all you guys's hard work - this is really a great app!

Please, if somebody can help me out, I'll be eternally greatfull

Hi Hein,

pls, explain what do you do, step by step.
I see in the logs you watch videos with OnlineVideo Plugin, crashed MP when you watch online videos or when you use MyVideo?

It happens when watching either.

But it seems my problem is related to another issue already in discussion here ([confirm] MP crashes during recording playback - Page 2 - MediaPortal Forum)

My media used to be stored on a different HDD that was FAT32 (donno why) When I reformatted it to NTFS, I started getting the error in the above link and this one seems to have dissapeared.

I posted messages on the above forum.
