    Maybe a Splitter problem..

Seems to be so. I already updated to the latest version of LAV splitters. No change. Do I have to uninstall the LAV pack if I want to try another splitter?

Strange... so in VLC audiostream switching works, but not with MediaPortal & MPC-HC?

So that would mean that both the MPC Splitter & LAVSplitter would fail (which, to be honest, i hardly doubt). According to the MP log, the switch was done:
    Code:
    2012-08-19 15:20:35.720685 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: GUIVideoFullscreen: switched audio to Englisch [English] [ac3, 48000 Hz, 5.1, 640 kb/s] (2/2)
So i'm also starting to doubt a splitter issue, because that would probably have thrown an error. I would sooner suspect your .mkv file as the cause of the problem.

Do you have the problem with other movies also?

You don't need to uninstall the LAV packages, but if both LAVsplitter & MPC-HC splitter don't do the job, you could give Haali Media Splitter a try.

Can't be the mkv-I tried other movies and series too and got the same error. I will give haali a shot when I'm home again and let you know if that worked.

switching in vlc is working well. i've installed media player classic - there's only one audiostream to be selected
VLC is not using DirectShow. So this just tells us that VLC can handle your MKV. MPC-HC is also using internal codecs in some/most cases, so that does not help us much either. You have to use the Windows MediaPlayer.
    1. Start WindowsMediaPlayer
    2. switch WMP to fullscreen
    3. right mouse click -> you should have an "audio tracks" or "audio streams" option
    4. try change it.
