I recently reinstated my computer to factory state so I have been reinstalling a of my software. </p><p></p><p>I decided that I would like to try out the stable RC1 for media portal 1. My error occurs when I try to install. When I install RC1 I am brouoght ot a self extraction screen, I leave the extraction to the temporary folder already chosen for me and click on install. Everything seems to unpack fine then I am brought to the error:</p><p></p><p></p><p>"MediaPortal.DeployTool.exe - Application Error</p><p></p><p>The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application. "</p><p></p><p></p><p>Ii get this everytime I try an install, I have even downloaded the install exe several different times to ensure it wasn't a bad install file. </p><p></p><p>I figure I can go back to the pre-RC1 release, but I figured I will give the support forums a try first.
